German in Context is operated by YOUR LEGAL NAME, YOUR BUSINESS OR CONTACT ADDRESS, YOUR COUNTRY. Privacy questions may be sent to privacy@learn.example.com.

2. Information we collect

We collect account information you provide (such as name and email), learning activity (cards studied, ratings, review timing, chapter progress), account settings, support messages, and transaction records required to provide Premium access. We do not store full payment-card details on our servers.

3. Why we use it

We use this information to provide and secure your account, synchronize learning progress, schedule reviews, deliver Premium access, provide support, maintain transaction history, prevent abuse, and improve service reliability.

4. Payment processing

When payments are enabled, payment information required to complete a transaction is handled by the approved payment provider. We retain order references, amount, currency, status and access period for billing history and support.

5. Cookies and sessions

We use essential session cookies to keep you signed in and protect account actions. See our Cookie Policy. Non-essential analytics or advertising cookies are not part of the current service configuration.

6. Data retention

Account and learning records are retained while your account is active and as reasonably necessary for service, security, billing and legal obligations. You may contact us to request account-data access, correction or deletion, subject to records we must retain.

We use encrypted HTTPS in production, hashed passwords, access controls and database backups. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

8. International users

This is an international digital learning service. Your information may be processed where our infrastructure and service providers operate, subject to applicable contractual and legal safeguards.
